Good Friday Service 7pm April 18th
I retired from the computer software business after 40 years in the industry. I graduated from Denver Seminary in 2019 with a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies. Prior to my seminary studies, I ministered through various lay positions for 30 years in the Reformed Church in America and in a non-denominational church, Mountain View Bible Fellowship, Estes Park, Colorado, for 5 years. My wife, Nancy, and I moved to Windsor, Colorado in the summer of 2019. In December of 2022 we became members of the Christian Church of Windsor (CCW). I have been the Chair of the church Council since January 2024 and Nancy is active in the women’s ministry of the church. We have been married for 35 wonderful years and have often ministered together at the churches where we were members.
As the interim pastor, I will work to help people get “past the past” as much as possible before seeking a permanent pastor. This requires being available to meet with people, allowing them to express their fears, concerns, and frustrations and to listen to the wisdom that many will have. I will also continue to help the Council, and the congregation articulate the vision for the church. This is important because it will guide future decisions about where limited resources are used to extend that vision throughout our community.
I look forward to serving God at CCW.
